Leap of Faith Partners

LOF Partners and Ark.la are two companies founded by the same partners who share common goals of providing better and more sustainable housing in the City of Los Angeles through innovative techniques, forms and models.

Ark.la is focused around creating architecturally significant housing at the highest possible standard for energy and environmental efficiency and sensitivity. Ark is innovative, green, and dedicated to using the highest state of the art building materials and modular capabilities in its construction.

LoF Partners, LLC is organized around mid-city Los Angeles apartment buildings, which LOF has dramatically improved and renovated as we have acquired them. In our renovations we use re-useable and energy efficient resources, which include reclaimed wood and bamboo flooring, energy star appliances, energy efficient lighting and low water flow fixtures.

At ark.la, we love architecture and design. We believe in creating aesthetically exciting spaces with an organic connection to the surrounding landscape. Ark.la relies on a talented team for our work, including aware-winning modular home design expert and architect Chris Krager of ma modular, in Austin, Texas; soils engineers at Calabasas, CA based GeoSoils; Los Angeles engineering consultant Kofi Allan and our team of engineering specialists; and, noted Los Angeles landscape designer and historian, and author Wade Graham for landscape design.

Our modular projects are built in partnership with Palm Harbor Homes, headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
